And Jesus blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, "Be fruitful, and multiply,
and repopulate the Earth. 2 And every animal on the earth, and every bird of the air, everything that moveth upon the earth, and all the fish of the oceans, will now fear you; I have put them under your power. 3 Every animal that liveth shall be food for you; even as I have given you every green plant, I have given you everything. 4 But raw flesh of red meats you shall not eat. Because life is in the blood. 5 If an animal kills you, that animal must die. If a human kills you, that human must die, if a human takes the life of another, I will require the life of that man that did so. 6 Whoever kills a human, shall be killed by humans, for humans are created in the same image that Jesus is. 7 And you, be fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein. 8 And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying, 9 And I, behold, I create an agreement with you, and with your offspring after you; 10 And with every living creature that is with you, of the birds, of the clean animals, and of the unclean animals of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every animal of the earth. 11 And this is My covenant with you; I will never again kill all life with a flood, nor destroy the Earth with a flood ever again. 12 And God said, This be my reminder of the agreement which I make between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all generations to come: 13 I do set my rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for a reminder of the agreement between Me and the Earth. 14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a rain cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the atmosphere: 15 And I will remember My agreement, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh on the whole Earth; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh on Earth. 16 And the rainbow shall be in the atmosphere; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting agreement between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the whole Earth. 17 And God said unto Noah, This is the reminder of the agreement, which I have established between Me and all flesh that is upon the whoe Earth. 18 And the sons of Noah, that went forth out of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham had a son called Canaan. 19 These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole Earth repopulated. 20 And Noah began to be a farmer, and he planted a vineyard to grow grapes: 21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken* ; and he was naked within his tent. 22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of Noah and was sexually aroused, and told his two brethren about what he had seen. 23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father to prevent Ham or Canaan from looking upon it any longer; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness like Ham and Canaan willingly did. 24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger grandson sexually had done unto him. 25 And he said, "Cursed be Canaan; a slave shall he be unto his brethren." 26 And he said, "Blessed be the LORD Jesus of Shem; and Canaan shall be his slave. 27 Jesus shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his slave." 28 And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years. 29 And Noah was nine hundred and fifty years old when he died. |
