And Adam had sex with Eve his wife; and she got pregnant,
and Cain was born, and said, "I am Blessed by Jesus to have
given birth.
2 And she again got pregnant and his brother Abel was born. And Abel took care of the sheep and animals, but Cain took care of the crops. 3 After some time had passed, Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto Jesus. * 4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof.* And Jesus had respect unto Abel and to his offering: 5 But unto Cain and to his offering He had not respect. And Cain was very angry, and you can tell it by the way he looked. 6 And Jesus said unto Cain, "Why are you angry? and why does your face look angry?" 7 If you do Right, you will be accepted? and if you don't do right, sin is ready to happen. And sin desires to have you, and you should rule over your desire to sin. 8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up in anger against his brother Abel, and killed him. 9 And Jesus said unto Cain, "Where is Abel thy brother?" * And he said, "I know not: Am I responsible for him?" * 10 And He said, "What have you done? The spirit of thy brother crieth unto Me from the ground. 11 And now you are cursed upon the earth, which has drank your brother's blood, caused by you; 12 When you try to grow anything, the ground will not produce for you; an outcast and homeless you shall be on the earth." 13 And Cain said unto Jesus, "My punishment is greater than I can handle." * 14 Because you have exiled me from all the inhabitants of Earth; and from you too; and I shall be an outcast and homeless upon the whole Earth. And when another shall find me, they shall kill me." * 15 And Jesus said unto him, "Therefore whosoever kills Cain, My vengeance shall be taken on that person sevenfold." And Jesus set a mark* upon Cain,* lest any inhabitant finding him should kill him. 16 And Cain left the presence of Jesus, and dwelt in the land of Nod, eastward of Eden.* 17 And Cain had sex with his wife;* and she born their firstborn son called Enoch: and Cain built a city, and called it Enoch, the name of his firstborn son. 18 And unto Enoch was born his son Irad: and Irad had a son called Mehujael: and Mehujael had a son called Methusael: and Methusael had a son called Lamech. 19 And Lamech married two wives: Adah, and the other Zillah. 20 And Adah, Lamech's wife had a son called Jabal: known for being tent dwellers in the field with their cattle. 21 And Adah had another son called Jubal: known for playing musical instruments such as the harp and organ. 22 And Zillah, had a son too, called Tubalcain, a blacksmith of everything brass and iron: and the sister of Tubalcain was called Naamah. 23 And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, listen to what I say: for I have killed a man for attacking me, a young man for wounding me. 24 If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold. * 25 And Adam had sex with his wife again; and she had her third son, called Seth: For Jesus told her He would give her another seed, to replace Abel, which Cain killed. 26 And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began humankind to call upon the name of Jesus.
