- Matthew 5:43
Ye have
heard that it hath been said,
Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44: But I say unto
you,
Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate
you,
and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45:
That
ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh
his
sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just
and
on the unjust.
- Matthew 6:14 For if
ye forgive men their trespasses,

second
is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40: On these
two
commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
- Matthew:18:21 Then
came Peter to him, and said, Lord,
how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven
times?
22: Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but,
Until
seventy times seven.

2:1 I
exhort therefore, that, first of all,
supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be
made for
all men; 2: For kings, and for all
that
are in authority; that
we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3:
For
this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4: Who
will
have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the
truth.
Well i do not have to even continue with
this
chapter, Scriptures speak
clearly that we are not to be for war, or condone war (killing) but to
love one another. But being that there are still those who do not
understand,
i will continue on this particular subject.
In the Old Testament there were many
wars, these
wars all took place
in the Old Covenant, But After Christ came, there was a New Covenant,
which
Covenant we are now under, and not under the Covenant of the Old
Testament.
Therefore in the New Covenant (New Testament) nowhere does it condone
war,
or approve of it, but on the contrary, the New Testament teaches us to
love
one another, to forgive everyone, and to love our enemies (not kill
them). Now this generation has to find some kind of excuse so that they
can
seem
right in their own eyes, to go to war, therefore they use the very few
verses
that state we are to obey our government, and that God puts them in
charge.
However, i will tell you the Truth, We are to do what those in
authority
tell us to do, We are not to do what that authority says, if it is
contrary
to the Words of God, i will repeat that again, in bigger letters to
emphasize
that statement : We are not
to do what are government says
if it is contrary to the Word of God.
If our Government
tells us to kill, it is contrary to sound doctrine, matters of fact
contrary
to EVERYTHING Jesus Christ taught, not to mention contrary to
everything
the Disciples taught as well. Jesus taught to love our enemies, if then
we
go over there and kill them, i assure you that is not love.
Question: Those who we are about to
fight and kill
if they stand in
our way, Does Christ love them? Do they also have an opportunity to
accept
Christ as their Savior and Lord, so that they may also enter into the
Kingdom
of Heaven? Well if we kill them, we, of our own doing, have taken that
chance
away from them, and doomed them to HELL, have we not? i mean, if they
are
dead, these have no opportunity to accept Christ do they, according to
your
belief, who then is responsible for their death, and sealing their
dreadful
fate of Hell? i assure you that Christ loves them to, and that Christ
desires
them to enter into Heaven also, Do we then go about to kill those who
Christ
loves, and still continue to call ourselves Christian (Christ-like).
Would
Christ point a gun at another human and pull the trigger to cause that
persons
life to cease? or would Christ drop a bomb on them? Christ would not
do
these things, nor as a Christian should we do these things.
Tell me, and answer Truly, Did Christ die on the cross for our enemies?
Yes you say, but you still think it is OK for you to kill them? Christ
died for them, but you think they should die, because they are the
enemy. Can a soldier aim his weapon at an enemy and say "I Love You"
Then shoot and kill him dead? There are too many people in this world
who are more than willing to kill people for this reason or that
reason. YOU (as a True Christian) don't have to condone it, or kill
with them. True Christians are COMMANDED by Jesus Christ to Love our enemies, NOT kill them.
Now don't get me wrong, wars are
going to
happen, it is according
to the plans of God, this is by no means a reason Christians should
condone
such acts, The anti-christ is going to happen also, it is according to
the
plans of God, this does not mean Christians should condone him either.
But
woe to those who condone such bloodshed and claim to be Christian
(Christ-like) while claiming they have to do what the government says,
or teaching that protecting your own is a Godly thing. Altogether
changing what Jesus actually said to something else. Jesus said "Love
your enemies" Nicolaitans say "It's OK to kill your enemies for the
reason of _______"
Will not the anti-christ kill many for
the sake of
peace? Are we not
doing the same thing by killing them and saying we are ridding the
world
of terrorists? Are we not killing for the sake of peace? Jesus did
not
do this or teach this, the Disciples did not do this or teach this,
from
whence then does this teaching come from? Not of God, i assure you.
