True Christian

What are we to do as True Christians? Well first we must be converted or born again.

  • Matthew 18:3: And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
If a person thinks of children what do they think? Well i think children as ages 2 to 8 years of age, innocent, pure, with no worldly wisdom's, no worldly knowledge, no worries, a true faith (that parents will feed them and take care of them). If you really think about it, you will understand the holiness and righteousness of what Jesus said. Children don't have sex, children don't do drugs, children don't tell dirty jokes, children don't lust, children don't smoke, children don't have greed for money, children are in the most part happy and playful and content with what they have and make the best out of every situation, even if it is a bad one. So you can clearly see if we do become as children we will become True Christians.

As a True Christian the Word of God tells us to reprove (to charge with a fault orally or to scold). It tells us to Rebuke (to reprimand or a severe reproof for a fault). It tells us to Exhort (to urge to do a good dead; to encourage; to warn).

  • II Timothy 4:2: Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
  • Titus 2:15: These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.(see alsoTitus 1:13,Titus 1:9
  • I Timothy 5:20: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.

So as a good Christian we are to point out faults of others, in hopes they will change their ways, and serve Jesus. But as you know, people of this age do not like anyone to point out their faults. Now i know why it is written, you will be hated by all for My names sake. (Matthew 10:22

  • I Thessalonians 5:14: Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
  • Hebrews 3:13: But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
  • Ephesians 5:11: And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, isn't that anyone who knowingly and willingly commits sin? What else does the Word of God say about fellowship with sinners.
  • Romans 16:17: Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine (BIBLE) which ye have learned; and avoid them. Isn't that the same as saying, "Mark them that do not obey the Bible and avoid them? i think yes.
  • II Thessalonians 3:14: And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
  • II Ccorinthians 6:14: Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
  • I Corinthians 5:9: I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:10: Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 11: But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

So as a True Christian we are not to have fellowship with those who love to sin, and those who continue to knowingly and willingly sin. But we are to reprove, rebuke, and exhort them so they might also know the difficult path to Heaven. If you see someone doing a deed that is sinful, out of love, you should let him know that his deed is evil and that he needs to change his wicked ways. But i warn you, There are many who believe they are going to Heaven, even though they continue to knowingly and willingly sin against the Words of God and Jesus, and because you tell the the truth which is from the Words of God, they will despise you and hate you and say all kinds of evil against you because you tell them the truth. But the Lord will bless you, because you are persecuted for righteousness sake. Endure to the end and you shall be Saved. (Ref = Endure)

  • I John 3:6: Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

Righteousness is light, Sin is darkness. What fellowship does darkness have with light? None

  • II Corinthians :6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

It is impossible to claim to be in the light (Saved) and yet do that which is darkness. It is also impossible to worship the light (Jesus) and yet do the deeds of darkness. If a person claims to be Saved and in the light and yet does not obey the Word of God, He or she is in darkness and the light is not in them. A person that obeys the Word of God and has no desire to do that which is evil, is in the light, and in a True light there is no darkness. Therefore anyone who has darkness is not of the True light. True light comes from faith in Jesus Christ and His Word.

Light is Christ, darkness is Satan, it is impossible to serve both light and darkness. Christ wants those who love the light and despise the darkness, these are they who will receive ever-lasting life.

Alot of people say it is impossible to do what this book is asking then to do. But i tell you the truth, it is not impossible, because all things are possible through Jesus Christ, and through Jesus Christ is the only way it is possible, with man it is impossible.

  • Proberbs 3:5: Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6: In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Take it day by day and always think of Jesus, never take your thoughts off of Him, because as soon as Jesus is not in your thoughts, Satan will jump in and tempt you to sin. So always keep your thoughts on Him. It is rare for a person to knowingly and willingly sin while they are in church. Why? Because their thoughts are on Jesus, but as soon as church is over and in their cars , not thinking of Jesus, they will light up a cigarette, taking no though for the temple of God.

If going to Heaven is all that matters to you, and you start obeying the Words of God, you will lose family and friends, they will say you are confused and need mental help and/or therapy and all because you live by the Word of God. Most people of this day and age do not live by the Word of God but they live the word of man, you will be considered an outcast. Just as Jesus and His Disciples had to sneak out of towns for fear of being stoned. Because they preached what the people don't want to hear. And you will find out, if you don't already know, That people are very comfortable believing the way they want as long as their belief does not make them change their ways. They would like to think they are going to Heaven just the way they are, and when someone comes and tells them the truth, which is contrary to what they want to believe, they will get upset and say that your the one who is confused.

People love the idea that it's O.K. to sin and yet still go to Heaven. But i will say again, There is a Heaven and there is a Hell and their are two types of people, Those who obey the Words of God and those who don't. And as Jesus said in Revelations "They are neither hot nor cold, and because they are neither hot not cold, but luke warm, i will spue them out of my mouth". There will be many people who, at the last day, shall say "If I would have known I had to stop knowingly and willingly committing sins, I would have stopped" and thus i write this book in hopes you will open your eyes to the Words of God and not to the words of man. Therefore i have done what the Lord had commanded me, And told you the Truth in this book, You have been told.

i have learned through Jesus Christ to hate sin. If you really think about it, you will understand. Because of Satan, Adam and Eve were kicked out of the Garden of Eden, Because of Satan many people are killed, because of Satan many people are raped, because of Satan many children are molested, because of Satan, Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross (Satan was in their hearts), because of Satan there are kidnappings, because of Satan there is hatred in the world, because of Satan there is Greed in the world, because of Satan there are wars, i can go on and on. So i ask you, Why would you want to do what Satan wants you to do?, when he is the author of all that wickedness. He is the cause of such evil. Satan was in the hearts of the people who put the Lord jesus on a cross with spikes in His hands and feet, and thorns upon His head, and they all watched Him die on the cross. So it was because of Satan that our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross. So i hate everything about Satan, what he stands for, and what he believes, and God forbid, if i want to listen to him and do what he wants, and willingly commit sin.

You might think the price is high to get to Heaven, because you have to more or less give up all the pleasures here on Earth and basically lose your life, But i assure you, once your in Heaven and know you will live forever in a state of total bliss, It's not that great of a price at all. What price would you pay to live forever in the Garden of Eden, or to live in a world where all your desires are a reality? What would you pay? i would give all that i have, and that's my life.   It is are God given duty to serve and obey God, So that we may be with Him, forever.

  • Matthew 10:39: He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
  • Matthew 16:25: For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
