Trinity

First off let me point out to you, That if one verse in the Word of God contradicts what you believe is the Truth, then i assure you that what you believe is in error. For the Words of God are True and accurate and correct. Therefore if what you believe is the Truth contradicts even one verse in the Bible, then what you believe is in error. It is not until what you believe is the Truth, does not contradict even one verse in the Bible, then you will know the Truth.

The First thing to do in understanding the Trinity is look to the Word of God for other examples of such a thing. And lo and behold we have an example:

  • Mt:19:5: And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
  • Mt:19:6: Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
  • Mk:10:8: And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.
  • Eph:5:31: For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

So then according to Scriptures when a Husband (Man, Male), marries a wife (Woman, Female) they are no longer Two flesh, but they are ONE. IN this same example we can then see and understand what the Trinity is all about.

Trinity means three (hence Tri) the Three in the Trinity according to what we will be talking about are: God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son of that Father, and the Holy Ghost the Helper. These are three different entities, three different jobs, three different personalities sort of speaking, yet like the husband and wife, they are no longer three, they are ONE. This in no way shape, form, or other, is saying that Jesus is the Father, nor that the Holy Ghost is Jesus, nor the Holy Ghost is the Father. Jesus is not God the Father, to say that He is God the Father, is contrary to sound doctrine, and just is not the Truth. Scriptures teach that Jesus Christ was the Son of God, Jesus testified that He was the Son of God, the Disciples testified that He was the Son of God and prophets of Old and of the New, testify that Jesus is the Son of God, To say anything differently is ungodly. Those who say Jesus is God the Father, know not the Truth. (click HERE to read the article which Scripturally proves this)

Now don't get me wrong, this is where the confusion comes in (which satan is the Master of Confusion) Jesus Christ is my God, this does not mean i believe Jesus is God the Father, only that Jesus is my Master, my Savior, my Lord, and my God, He is my everything. This does not in any way state or claim that i think Jesus is God the Father.

Many who believe Jesus is God use this verse:

  • Jn:1:1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Not that this verse is simple enough to understand, let me break it down into even more simpler to understand. Jn:1:1: In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word (Jesus) was with God (the Father), and the Word (Jesus) was God (the Godhead). How about even more simpler: In the beginning was Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ was with God the Father , and Jesus Christ was part of the Godhead. However this verse does not say that Jesus is God the Father, it is what these people would like to believe it means.

Not to mention those who believe Jesus is God the Father, have a difficult time explaining many verses in the Word of God that contradict with what they believe, nor can these who claim that Jesus is God the Father can show any verse that says Jesus is God the Father, nor can they find any scripture that the Disciples said that Jesus is God the Father, nor anyone in the entire Bible that says Jesus is God the Father. Anyway, they have a hard time explaining many such verses that contradict what they believe is the Truth. For example :

  • Mt:3:17: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
  • Mt:17:5: While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
  • Mk:1:11: And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
  • Mk:9:7: And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.
  • Lk:3:22: And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.
  • Lk:9:35: And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

If Jesus is God, then in the above verses, who was speaking ? Was it not God the Father which was saying " This is My beloved Son: hear Him" If then the one speaking was God, and Jesus was being baptized below in the river, and God the Father said with His own mouth, that this Jesus was His SON, what then, is God a liar ? If Jesus is God the Father, then why did God the Father call Him His Son, if in fact He was the Father. If Jesus is God the Father, then the voice that came from Heaven either lies or doesn't know what He is talking about, for the voice in the sky said Jesus was His Son, and yet people claim Jesus is God the Father. What if it is exactly as Scriptures teach and reveal to us, that Jesus Christ is the Son of God the Father, and God is the Father of Jesus Christ, then it would come together clearly and with understanding. Jesus is the Son of God, which is what all of Scriptures teaches, anything other than this, is not scriptural and is not godly, but comes from another place.

  • Mt:4:3: And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. (Even satan knows that Christ was not God but knew He was the Son of God) But satan has done a good job getting people to call Jesus anything but the Truth, Hence he got people saying Jesus is God, denying He is the Son of the Father which is in Heaven.
  • Mt:4:6: And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
  • Mt:8:29: And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time? (even demons knows that Christ is not God, but know that Christ is the Son of God)
  • Mt:14:33: Then they that were in the ship came and worshiped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God. (Which He is the Son of God as they witnessed)
  • Mt:26:63: But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.64: Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: (Jesus Himself confessed also that He is the Son of God, not that He is God, but the Son of God) nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. (Jesus Himself said that we shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power (which is God the Father) and many other verses confirm this.)
  • Mt:27:40: And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross. (Evidently it was being taught that Jesus claimed to be the Son of God, and not taught that He was God.)
  • Mt:27:43: He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.

Jesus claims also that He is the Son of God, not God, but clearly the Son of God, satan has deceived many into not believing the Truth, but believing something other than the Truth, and satan has also got these people to try to teach this untruth to those who say that Jesus is not God but the Son of God, and these people are so set in their blindness of this Truth, that they will not hear those who know the Truth, not that we have this Truth exclusively, but this Truth is clearly written and taught in the Words of God. But that is satans goal is to pervert the Words of God and to get people not to believe them, he is succeeding in this, but fret not, Few will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, maybe you belong to those few.

  • Mt:27:54: Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.
  • Mk:1:1: The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;
  • Mk:3:11: And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.
  • Mk:15:39: And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.
  • Lk:1:35: And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
  • Lk:4:3: And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.
  • Lk:4:9: And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:
  • Lk:4:41: And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.
  • Lk:8:28: When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not.
  • Lk:22:70: Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am.
  • Jn:1:34: And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.
  • Jn:1:49: Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.
  • Jn:3:18: He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
  • Jn:5:25: Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
  • Jn:9:35: Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?
  • Jn:10:36: Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
  • Jn:11:4: When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.
  • Jn:11:27: She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.

Do you believe Christ was the Son of God, or God the Father? i believe the Truth and what Scriptures teach, not what people say is the Truth, or their interpretation of the Truth, i believe what the Truth clearly says, no interpretation needed. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, this i believe, woe to them who do not believe He is the Son of God.

  • Jn:19:7: The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.
  • Jn:20:31: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. (So those who believe Christ is the Son of God have life)
  • Acts:8:37: And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
  • Acts:9:20: And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God. (Did he straightway preach that Christ was the Son of God or that He was God ? even a child can understand that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, leave it to the learned to confuse this simple understanding)
  • Rom:1:4: And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
  • 2Cor:1:19: For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.
  • Gal:2:20: I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
  • Eph:4:13: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
  • Heb:4:14: Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
  • Heb:6:6: If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
  • Heb:10:29: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
  • 1Jn:3:8: He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
  • 1Jn:4:15: Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.(i confess that Jesus is the Son of God, those who say Jesus is God the Father cannot confess that Jesus is the Son of God, for they think and believe that He is the Father, they are in error)
  • 1Jn:5:5: Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? (i believe Jesus is the Son of God also, i do not believe that Jesus is God the Father, this is not taught in the Words of God, nor by the Disciples, nor by the prophets, nor by anyone in the entire Bible, this is satans lie.)
  • 1Jn:5:10: He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. (kind of difficult to believe, if you believe Jesus is the Father)
  • 1Jn:5:12: He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
  • 1Jn:5:13: These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
  • 1Jn:5:20: And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
Please note this verse is talking about God the Father : And we know that Jesus the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding the we may know God the Father is True, and we are in God that is true, even in God the Father's Son, Jesus Christ. This is the true God the Father, and eternal life. notice above it says " even in HIS Son Jesus Christ " we are talking about God the Father
  • Rv:2:18: And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;

So then there must be other verses, that these people are using, to convince themselves that Jesus is God the Father, through and by their own interpretations. We have seen one of them above being the most popular one, that they misinterpret :

  • Jn:1:1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Note how those who claim Jesus is God the Father do not make an attempt whatsoever to explain the part of the verse which says " the Word was WITH God " but full heartedly concentrate on the last part which says " the Word was God " which is True for Jesus Christ is part of the Godhead, making Him ONE with God the Father, this does not mean nor will ever mean, that Jesus is God the Father. This is their interpretation of what it means, and for a fact, this interpretation is contrary to the entire Bible, and they still call it Truth.  Not to mention they do not recognize the very next verse:

  • Jn:1:1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2: The same was in the beginning with God.

If what you believe is contrary to even one verse in the Bible, then what you believe to be the Truth, is in error. When what you believe does not contradict even one verse in the Bible then you are on to the Truth. So then if someone believes that Jesus is God the Father, then they do greatly error for there are many verses which is contrary to such thinking. However, if the Jesus was with God the Father, and Jesus is God being a part of the Trinity and being ONE with the Father, then this thinking does not even contradict even one verse in the Bible, this is Truth.

What other verses do they interpret to mean Jesus is God:

  • Heb:1:8: But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

How is this in any way, saying Jesus is God the Father, this verse clearly without any interpretation is saying that God the Father called Jesus God, and He is God being a part of the Godhead or Trinity, for they are ONE, this verse still does not validate people claiming that Jesus is God the Father, matters of fact if you read Hebrews 1:1-8 , you will see that God the Father is saying all these things about Jesus such as :

  • Heb:1:5: For unto which of the angels said he (God the Father) at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

What more evidence does one need to know that Jesus is not God the Father, but is the Son of God as it is written and taught.

  • Heb:1:6: And again, when he (God the Father) bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.(let all the angels of God the Father worship Jesus Christ) What i can't understand, is how easily satan can blind and mislead those who profess to know Christ.)
  • Rom:8:9: But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Again, how does this say or even imply that Jesus is God ? it doesn't. It says " But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you " question if Christ be in you, is that a spirit of God or satan ? Most would say Spirit of God, those who are sarcastic would say " the Spirit of Christ ", not answering the question presented to them, but being difficult. Jesus is ONE with the Father, this does not mean Jesus is the Father, just as a husband is ONE with the wife, does not mean the husband is the wife. People should not teach things which are contrary to sound doctrine, for they are teaching things of satan. Satan will use Scriptures to make Christians blind as much as he is able to do so, and from my point of observation, he is doing a fine job in getting those who profess to be Christians to teach things that are not Scriptural but based on beliefs and interpretation of what they believe is the Truth, and again i say unto you, if what you believe is the Truth even contradicts one verse in the Bible, then what you believe is in error and is not the Truth.

i am actually blown away by how many people are confused about the Trinity, Several false doctrines has surfaced due to the confusion this topic has caused. Which is not surprising that satan would take something so simple and make it so complicated in the minds of humans.

Lets point out that the Word “Trinity” is not found in Scriptures, nor are the words “Rapture”, “Millennium”,  ”Slain in the Spirit”,  “Revival”, or the word “Suicide”, or “Millionaire”.

Just because they are not mentioned in the Word of God does not mean they don’t exist. These words represent something. The word Trinity is referring to the union of the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost.

An example of the Son and the Holy Ghost can be found in Genesis Chapter One, at the creation of the Earth and our Atmosphere (Heaven). Verse 26 says “Let US make man in OUR image”. The words US and OUR are plural and not singular, there was more then one. We know that Jesus was in the beginning from:
  •  John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; (Jesus) and without him was not any thing made that was made. . . 10 . . . 11. . .12. . .13. . . 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
And another verse that confirms that Jesus made all things
  • Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth . . . . . . . .
The Spirit also helped Jesus create the Earth, consider:
  • Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God (Jesus) created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God (Holy Ghost) moved upon the face of the waters.
  • Matthew 10:20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father (Holy Ghost) which speaketh in you.
Quite frankly i do not understand why this topic is so confusing when Scriptures are quite clear concerning them.

Jesus our Savior and Lord instructed us in:
  • Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Why would Jesus instruct us to do this, if there wasn’t the 3 of them, the Father, whom Jesus prayed too, then there is Jesus Himself, the Son of the Father, and then finally the Spirit of the Father, the Holy Ghost? Not to mention we have Scriptures that clearly teach there are three of them that those three, are one.
  • I John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
How much clearer can the Trinity be? Unless your one of those people who go about to change the Word of God to fit your own belief, such as those who say this verse can’t be found in the original Hebrew or Greek texts, therefore making this verse in the Word of God void and to no effect, only to fit their own personal beliefs.

What then? God intends for us to disregard certain verses in the Word of God that He has given the English speaking people and to now become learned in Hebrew and Greek in order to come to the knowledge of the Truth? i thank the Lord Jesus Christ that He gave us the King James version of the Bible so that English speaking people can come to the knowledge of the Truth without having to take it to the Hebrew of Greek in order to do so.

Is it not the Holy Ghost that reveals Truth to us concerning the Scriptures? Can the Holy Ghost not reveal to us Truth without having to take it to the Hebrew or Greek to do so? Yes He can and does. Blessed are the simple and as children merely believe the Word of God in the language that it was given to them. Of a Truth the Hebrew Bible and the Greek Bible were to the Hebrew speaking people and to the Greek speaking people. The Latin Bible is to the Latin speaking people, and the King James Bible is to the English speaking people. Do you see how simple that is, God is not the author of confusion. English speaking people can come to the full knowledge of the Truth through the King James Version, which was written to the English speaking people. And God was there to translate it EXACTLY as He wanted it translated. English speaking people need not go to the Hebrew or Greek to come to the knowledge of the Truth. That is not, nor ever was His intentions. For more information read Chapter on “Hebrew, Greek, or KJV”

Do you believe the following verse?
  • II Timothy 3:16 ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Do you believe ALL Scriptures are inspired, or do you think I John 5:7 should not be included in the Word of God? Or do you try to take away that verse, saying such things like, it was not in the original Hebrew or Greek. Know you not what Scriptures say about those who take away from the Word of God?
  • Revelations 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Any person who teaches you to ignore, or make void verses in the KJV Bible, does not know the Truth, and you should not listen to any such person, they lie and do not the Truth.

Now maybe the part in I John 5:7 that says “and these three are one” is what is causing the confusion concerning the Trinity. Well we know that Scriptures interprets Scriptures, why should this be any different?
  • Matthew 19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? 6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
i see, so it doesn’t mean they husband is the wife or the wife is the husband, but it is talking about a unity. So even though the husband and the wife are separate people having separate responsibilities, yet they are ONE. Likewise, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are separate entities, having different responsibilities, yet they are ONE. Quite simple to understand really, a child of 8 years old can understand this concept. Leave it to the learned, and those who think they know something to confound that which is simple.

How many bare record in Heaven? According to the Word of God there are Three and those three are ONE. How many are in a marriage? According to the Word of God there is the Husband and the Wife, and these two are ONE. Need i say more? With this generation, probably, you either believe the Word of God and what it says or you don’t believe it.
  • John 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be ONE, as we are.
Believest thou this Scripture? Do you believe that we can be ONE with the Father and Jesus? Jesus says again:
  • John 17:21 That they all may be ONE; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be ONE in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be ONE, even as we are ONE: 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in ONE; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
Do you not see the simplicity in this, they are not ONE as in one and the same, saying such false things as, Jesus is the Father. They are ONE as in a unity together, even as we can become ONE with them. I, according to the Word of God can be ONE with Jesus and the Father. If then i am ONE with Jesus, does that mean i am Jesus. Likewise if Jesus is ONE with the Father, does that mean Jesus is the Father? God Forbid.

i tell you the Truth, there are three that are one. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, and these THREE are ONE in purpose and in unity. Why is it so difficult for this generation to grasp the simplicity of the Trinity.

An egg, is of three yet is one. It has the shell, the yoke, and the white. All three are ONE egg. Likewise a person consists of three. A person has Blood, Water, and the Spirit. Take away any one of those things from the body, and the body will die. Those three things are separate, yet together in unity makes a living body. A husband and wife are separate sexes, yet are they not ONE in unity. Likewise there are three in Heaven. The Father God, the Son God, and the Spirit God, ALL three of these, in unity, is ONE. Just as we are ONE with them, if we abide in Him, and they in us.

In His Holy and Precious Name, Jesus Christ
