The Righteous

Where do we go to learn to be righteous?

  • II Timothy 3:16: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works..

So we go to the Bible to learn.

  • Proverbs 11:23: The desire of the righteous is only good: but the expectation of the wicked is wrath.

So a righteous person only has good desires. Well that makes since because if a person had evil desires that would make him unrighteous.

Do you hunger and thirst for righteousness? May God bless you. If your reading this article then you may be truly seeking righteousness. Or you may be a Nicolaitan and only reading this article to try to find fault so that you can accuse me.

  • Matthew 5:6: Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
  • Proverbs 11:31: Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner.
  •  I John 5:17: All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

Sin not unto death are those sins that a person does but doesn't realize it is a sin and also those sins which are done accidentally or in other words all sins that are not knowingly and willingly committed are not sins unto death. For example if a person speaks in church, it is not a sin unto death, until she is made aware that it is a sin, once the awareness is there, then it becomes a sin unto death if they continue to do it knowing it is sinful.

  • I Corinthians 14:34: Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

Well we just lost a great percentage of Nicolaitan women and men, who closed this article upon reading that verse. They don't want to believe or hear it. or They think it means something other than what it says, either way they do not agree with the Holy Inspired Word of God. Anyway for the benefit of those still reading, I'll continue. If the woman is made known to her that it is a sin to speak in church, and continues anyway, then the sin becomes a sin unto death, because she knowingly and willingly commits that sin and therefore is in need of repentance of that sin. A person really can't be held liable, if he or she knew not what he or she did, was wrong.

  • Matthew 9:13: But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

He didn't come for the righteous but He did come for the sinners. That would mean the righteous aren't sinners, for if the righteous were sinners then Jesus would have come for the righteous and the sinners. So then is it true? that the righteous person doesn't sin? Because if he did sin would he not be unrighteous because he chose to sin.

  • I Corinthians 15:34: Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
  • Ezekiel 3:21: Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

So the righteous sin not, and does not sin. i guess that makes since because if the righteous did knowingly and willingly sin, how can he be righteous when he chose to hearken unto Satan the enemy of Jesus, which is against God. i know what a lot of people are thinking about the above verse when they see it is Old Testament. But i tell you there is a verse in the New Testament that says the same thing, which is:

  • I John 3:6: Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

What happens if a righteous person does sin?

  • Proverbs 25:26: A righteous man falling down before the wicked is as a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring.
  • EZEKIEL 3:20: Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity (sin), and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
If a righteous person, who knows what is righteous, does something knowingly and willingly which he knows is unrighteous, God will lay a stumbling block before that person and he will die because the wages of sin is death. (Romans 6:23)
  • Romans 3:17: But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have OBEYED from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. (BIBLE) 18: Being then made free from sin, (GRACE) ye became the servants of righteousness. (NOT SIN) (So to be Free from sin, you must First OBEY the Bible)
  • Peter 2:24: Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins,(NO LONGER LIVE IN IT) should live unto righteousness (DOING ONLY GOOD): by whose stripes ye were healed.(FORGIVEN)
  • Romans 3:23: For all have sinned, (HAVE SINNED, THAT'S PAST TENSE, IT DOES NOT SAY, FOR ALL WILL SIN as the Nicolaitans teach) and come short of the glory of God; 24: Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past (THAT ARE PAST), through the forbearance of God.

That are past, when you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, He will forgive all your sins THAT ARE PAST, every one of them He will forgive, once you accept Him and truly repent. However, NOWHERE in the Bible does it say you can continue to sin, as Nicolaitans think and like to believe.

Now that we have established that the righteous don't sin, through the Word of God we have established it. i now want to write some versus which pertain to the righteous and Heaven.

  • Matthew 25:46: And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: (THOSE WHO TURN AWAY THE HUNGRY, THE NEEDY, THE SICK. ie Failing to Love One Another) but the righteous into life eternal.
  • Matthew 13:41: The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity(SIN)
  • I John 5:17: All unrighteousness is sin......
  • I Corinthians 6:9: Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? ......

So i ask how can a person KNOWINGLY AND WILLINGLY do that which is unrighteous (or sin) and expect to go to Heaven? When it clearly states the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God. Do you do unrighteousness? i assure you if you continually knowingly and willingly choose to listen to Satan and sin, then you are unrighteous and the unrighteous will not enter into Heaven, whether you think your saved or not.

  • Psalms 37:29: The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.
  • Psalms 112:6: Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
  • Psalms 118:20: This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.

Woe to all those people who believe you can still be righteous and knowingly and willingly commit sins. For it is written, that the Lord is Righteous (Psalms 145:17) and do you think He also sins? God forbid.

  • Proverbs 10:25: As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.
  • Proverbs 15:29: The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.

So God hears the Righteous, but He does not hear the sinner, next verse

  • John 9:31: Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

God's will is that we obey Him and serve Him. If you continue to sin you are obeying Satan and serving his wishes. So then according to the Word of God, God hears the Righteous, and does not hear the sinner. So then a sinner can't be righteous, and a righteous person is not a sinner. For if a righteous person is a sinner, then how are they righteous? Just because a righteous person no longer knowingly and willingly commit sins, does not mean they have never sinned. for they have sinned plenty, up until the point they accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. So then, even though a righteous person no longer knowingly and willingly commits sins, does not mean they have no sin. So even though, i do not knowingly and willingly commit sin, i cannot say i have no sin, for i sinned plenty.

And finally i will say. There is good and there is evil, There is pure and there is defiled, There is righteousness and there is unrighteousness, There is Heaven and there is a Hell, There is Jesus and there is Satan. And there are two types of people: Those who obey the Word of God and those who don't, Those who Love One Another and those who fail to Love One Another. There is NO in between. i do not know how to say it simpler than this: You either mind Jesus or you mind Satan. You can't say you worship Jesus if you obey Satan. Jesus and Satan are at extreme opposites inasmuch as Good and Evil are at extreme opposites, But you believe if you claim to be saved, that you can obey Satan and Jesus as long as you continually ask for forgiveness. If a person only obeys Satan, He is cold. If a person only obeys God, he is hot. But people of this wicked generation are neither Hot nor Cold, but are lukewarm, What did Jesus Christ say about such people

  • Revelations 3:16: So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

i will tell you the Truth, It is impossible to claim to be Good and Godly and yet knowingly and willingly do that which is evil and ungodly. For it is written. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit. (Matthew 7:18-20 ) So you people who claim to be Saved (Good tree) and yet your actions and/or deeds are sinful (evil fruit). You are by no means a Good Tree. A Good Tree will not bring forth evil fruit (sin).

  • I JOHN 3:6 WHOSOEVER ABIDETH IN HIM SINNETH NOT; WHOSOEVER SINNETH HATH NOT SEEN HIM, NEITHER KNOWN HIM.
  • 1Co_15:34  Awake to righteousness, and SIN NOT; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
Woe to this generation of Nicolaitans, which profess to know Jesus and profess Him to be Lord, but continue to obey His enemy the devil and knowingly and willingly commit sins, and that on a DAILY basis. There will be much weeping and gnashing of teeth by the Billions of Nicolaitans that are in these present last days.

In His Holy and Precious Name, Jesus Christ
