Become Perfect / Will Not Stumble

i know i've been talking a lot about not to sin, but lets take a different look at it, if a person does not sin, than that would make him a perfect person. What does the Bible say about that. How many times do we hear from this generation "ONLY Jesus is Perfect, we can't be" Yet Scriptures plainly teaches that we can be. Leave it to the Nicolaitans to teach we can't be, even though Scriptures teach we can be.

  • James 3:2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. So it is possible, difficult but possible.
There are verses in the Bible that tells us to be perfect and Holy. There are verses which tell us to walk as Jesus Christ Himself walked. Didn't He walk sinless?
  • Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. ( Just as God is perfect )
  • Levitucus 11:45 For I am the Lord that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God; ye shall therefore be holy, for I am Holy.
  • I John 2:6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
  • Colosians 2:6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him:
  • I Thessalonians 2:12 That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.
  • Colosians 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Here are some more versus telling us to become perfect.

  • I John 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
  • Matthew 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. How many people will do this? With this evil and wicked generation i wouldn't think even one would.
  • Philippians 3;15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
  • II Corinthians 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
  • II Corinthians 13:8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. 9: For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection.
  • I Thessalonians 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Philippians 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without fault, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

If you knowingly and willingly sin, then you have fault. You knowingly and willingly obey the enemy of your Savior Jesus Christ. Do you shine as lights in this world? If you knowingly and willingly sin, you are no different than anyone else.

  • Peter 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.
  • James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3: Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4: But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

People you do not have to become perfect over night. You have to work at it. And it's a slow process, testing your patience, Continually try to make yourself a Godly person, For instance; If you smoke, curse, and think lustful thoughts, take one of them and work on it, ask Jesus to help you and He will. After you get rid of one, work on another. And before you know it, you will be ready to become a true servant to our Lord Jesus Christ. Notice what is written:

  • Heb_12:1  Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Notice it did not say sins but said the sin, singular. Take one sin get rid of it out of your life, then take another sin that so easily besets you and get rid of it out of your life, then so on.

But one thing i do warn you, there is not much time left before Christ will come and take those who are True Christians. So start now.

  • II Peter 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
  • Proverbs 3:21-23 My son, let not them depart from thine eyes;, keep sound wisdom and discretion, then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.
  • Proverbs 12:21 There shall no evil happen to the just; but the wicked shall be filled with mischief.
  • Proverbs 11:8 The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.
  • Psalms 55:22 Cast thy burdens upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee; lest the righteous put their hands unto iniquity (sin).
  • Mat_6:13  And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

So you can see, if you become righteous and truly Saved, God will protect you from satan, He will deliver you out of troubles and you will never ( NEVER ) stumble. But if you continue to knowingly and willingly sin, then God will put a stumbling block in front of you and you will stumble.

  • Ezekiel 3:20 Again, when a righteous man does turn from his righteousness, and commit sin and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die;.....
  • James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law (BIBLE), and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. Do you obey the whole law, or just part of it?
  • Psalms 125:3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put their hands unto iniquity (sin)

If you truly become Saved and righteous you will be joyous knowing that you are truly serving the Lord your God. You will be happy knowing that your going to Heaven, because of your obedience to the Word of God. You will have gifts from the Holy Ghost, You will be able to help people that are in need or sick, or crippled, or in need of Spiritual guidance. You will be able to move mountains. You will shine as a light in this evil and corrupt world.

  • Philippians 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without fault, in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Are you without fault? Do you shine?
  • Ephesians 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: ( If i knowingly and willingly commit a sin, is that not darkness? For how can i knowingly and willingly sin, and say I'm in the light of the Lord? Is this not blaspheme? i think it is. Even as a Nicolaitan says "Jesus is my Master and Lord" yet they willingly obey satan.)
  • Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

If you knowingly and willingly sin you are not children of God, but children of satan.

  • I John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil;....... This is why Jesus came down to get rid of sin once and for all.

If you continue to sin, you are no different than most people on this corrupt planet. But if you obey the Word of God (Bible) and don't knowingly and willingly sin, than you are truly born of God and Saved and not of this world, and a very few will find and take that narrow and difficult path that will lead to Life Everlasting in Heaven.

Have you ever wondered why there are so many sick people with health problems and why hasn't God heard their prayers? I'm not talking about unbelievers, but those who claim to be Christians.

  • I Corinthians 11:27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, UNWORTHILY, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28: But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29: For he that eateth and drinketh UNWORTHILY, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 30: For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep (Die).

i ask you, How can a person who loves to sin be worthy of the body and blood of Christ? How can a person who knowingly and willingly commits sins be worthy of the body and blood of Christ? i tell you it is impossible.

  • II Thessalonians 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness (sin).
  • Galations 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in ALL things which are written in the book of the law (BIBLE) to do them.
  • Romans 2:9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; (Every soul of man, that's you too)
  • Romans 2:13 (For not the hearers of the law (BIBLE) are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. (Nicolaitans teach you don't have to DO anything, don't they?)
So you typical Christians (Nicolaitans) which are hypocrites that continue to knowingly and willingly sin, i pray for you, So you might be able to see and hear the truth. Cease from your wicked ways and repent, lest satan sets a trap for you, and you die. i tell you this because i love you and do not want you to go to Hell. But if your not willing to give up your sins for Jesus Christ than you have made up your mind already to what path you will take. There are two (2) path's: 1) The difficult path and 2) The easy path (*). And i will tell you, it is easy to continue to sin and think you are Heaven bound, and it is difficult to give up those things that are sinful, and obey the Word of God. It's your choice.

Do not go running to your preacher to find out what i say is true or not. For he is but a man. But instead go directly to the source, which is the Word of God, and you yourself seek the truth. God made the Bible easy to understand, it is not difficult to understand His word. Most of the Disciples were unlearned men (Not schooled). If the Bible is confusing to you, than it is because you are trying to put your own personal meanings to the verse. DON'T. If it is confusing to you, then you are not reading it enough. What it says is what it means, its that easy and that simple. Now, when Jesus Christ clearly stated "this is a parable", then try to figure out the meaning of the parable, otherwise what it says is what it means. Understanding prophecies are another thing that must be given to a person by God. He will reveal to whom He will reveal.

Do not Preachers preach from the Bible? Are you not just as capable of reading the Word of God as they are? i think yes you are. Preachers go to college and learn from a professor (a man) his interpretation of the Bible. But i will tell you the truth the Holy Ghost can teach a person in 5 minutes what they have learned in college for years.

I'm not saying that all preachers are bad. If they live by every word of the Bible and do not knowingly and willingly sin than i think they are good. But If they preach the Gospel yet continue to knowingly and willingly sin, i think they are bad. Which i can accurately say most preachers are bad.

  • I Corinthians 9:14 Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.
Maybe this is why they only preach parts of the Gospel, the parts which they do. Preachers do a good job of praising Jesus, and making the congregation feel good about themselves and every body leaves feeling spiritual and good. They more or less tell people what they want to hear, because if they preached the truth they would lose their congregation, then what would they do for money to pay for the bills of the Church. The GAME is to get as much people into the congregation as possible so they will have more funds to build a bigger and better church, or add on a room or buy a church bus or church office equipment or claim that getting more people will get more money to help more people. so lets not teach the entire Truth so we can make more money. let us not say things to cause people to leave and never come back, but instead teach things that is pleasant to the ears and keep our congregation so we can have more money to help more people. They have made the church a business, and not a place of worship. It would totally shock me if i were to enter into a church and they were giving out quit smoking patches, This is helping the people and building the church. But they say what the people want to hear, when they should be reproving, rebuking, and exhorting people that they should abstain from sin. But I've not seen this yet.

So go to the Word of God yourself, don't go to a person. Ask God to help you understand His Word, and He will help you. Before He helps you, He may test you, and see just how determined you are to learn the Word of God, thus you might have to read it several times before He will help you understand it. i know, i read the entire Bible front to back 3 times and was on the fourth time before God gave me the gift of understanding the Word of God, From that point on, It was easy to understand. So don't give up to easily, because you think it is to hard to understand. Do not trust a man how to tell you to get to Heaven, Go and find out for yourself. If you are going to go on a vacation, are you going to get directions from a person who has never been there or are you going to get directions from a map. He that has ears, let him hear.

And concerning the word "Perfect" many Nicolaitans will try to convince you the word means or interprets to mean "Mature". They do this so they do not have to actually become PERFECT as the Word of God instructs us to be. You see if you change the word "Perfect" to mean "mature" then you don't have to become PERFECT. Do you see how this generation ADDS* to the Word of God to change it to mean what they want it to mean, instead of merely believing the Word of God as it is written? (no wander, many are sickly today). You can take the word Perfect to the Hebrew or Greek and neither one translates the word to mean "Mature" Those who do not want to be PERFECT are those who say the word means "Mature" Nicolaitans they are.

In His Holy and Precious Name, Jesus Christ
