22: Why was all this done? Because it was prophesied that it would happen. It's not as though the prophet actually saw the future and SEEN all this happening. The Lord knew He was going to MAKE these things happen at the appropriate time. These things were done unto Mary, because God made sure that what the prophets said would happen did happen.
